Here is an example. A nurse was facing allegations against her competency as an operating room nurse from a clique of nurses at the hospital where she worked. These allegations turned out to be groundless, and the Registered Nurses Association also found that some of them were made in bad faith. She writes,
"There was a innate sense of trust that I had with you that I can't say developed over time, it was just there from the beginning. I never knew if you believed me or not, I understood that you had to remain professionally objective and couldn't give me an affirmation of ANY outcome, so yes, that drove me nuts because anyone who is that frightened wants to hear that everything will be alright….
I remember you being quite generous and helping me out in little ways which meant a lot to me at that time because this was not a case that was going to bring you a lot of money. I did appreciate that very much. I also felt you had a tremendous amount of integrity and that again that was/is a big part of your personality and it did not go unrecognized. All these things brought me some sense of comfort, you were prompt and reliable as well.
I would recommend you to anyone in a similar situation who wants a lawyer who does not lose interest or faith over the long haul." |
